Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026 (placeholder)
1. Who we are
EasyBook is a booking and ticketing platform operated by 091 Solutions, a sole trader based in Galway, Ireland ("we", "us"). [PLACEHOLDER: registered business details and contact address.]
2. The service
EasyBook lets organisers ("you") publish a booking site on an EasyBook address, take bookings for spaces or tickets for events, and optionally take payments. Custom domains are not currently supported.
3. Organisers are the merchant of record
When a customer pays for a booking or ticket, the sale is a contract between the customer and you, the organiser. You are the merchant of record and are responsible for what you sell, your prices, taxes (including VAT), cancellation and refund terms, consumer-law obligations, and customer service. We are not a party to that sale.
4. Payments and Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe. To take payments you must connect your own Stripe account and accept Stripe's terms. Funds go to your Stripe account. Stripe processing fees, refunds and chargebacks or disputes are your responsibility.
5. Platform fee
EasyBook is free to start. We take a platform fee of a percentage of each paid booking (currently 5% by default; a different rate may be agreed with you). The fee is deducted from your payout when the payment is made. Free bookings carry no fee. When a payment is refunded, the platform fee is refunded in proportion. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm the fee, how it is shown, and the notice period for changes.]
6. Your account and content
You must give accurate details, keep your sign-in secure, and only publish content you have the right to publish. You must not use EasyBook for unlawful, misleading or harmful activity.
7. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. [PLACEHOLDER: limitation of liability, indemnity and warranty wording to be settled with a solicitor.]
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using EasyBook at any time. We may suspend a site that breaches these terms. [PLACEHOLDER: notice periods and data handling on closure.]
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights. [PLACEHOLDER]
